“Honour and shame from no Condition rise, act well your part; there all honour lies.”

Dear Parents,
Greetings of the day!
Discipline and Code of Conduct are the two important ingredients of any good system. In the past few months of the session gone by, it has been observed that some students find it difficult to adhere to the school rules and regulations despite being counseled time and again.

We at G D Goenka, Sector-9 take upon the task of not only raising career conscious students but individuals who are socially responsible citizens.

Academic excellence is the hallmark of all good institutions. It is always desirable. But at the same time inculcating values, good habits are the real essence of education.

In today’s world when our children have a wide exposure to print and electronic media, we as adults have to revamp our thinking and ensure that we raise morally upright children who are socially aware and emotionally balanced.

The school Discipline Committee has been formed to look into the above aspects and we solicit your cooperation in continuously counseling your ward to adhere to disciplinary norms of the school.

The following disciplinary measures will be / can be adopted by the school.

  • Oral warning and counseling
  • Fine
  • Written warning
  • Issue of warning card/letter with information to parents.

  • Disobedience and Rowydism.
  • Violence in any form or unpleasant/ unacceptable behavior.
  • Persistence truancy
  • Persistence opposition to faculty members/authorities.
  • Habitual offender.
  • Use of profane or improper language .
  • Code of conduct which is injurious to the moral tone of the school.
  • Conduct which is injurious to the physical, mental well being of fellow students in the school.
  • Brining Mobile Phones/ Electronic gadgets / Sharp objects to school.

In case of any emergency, prior approval of the Principal is to be sought, and the same to be deposited at the school Help Desk at sharp 8.00 am.

We all agree that self discipline is the forte of any good school; therefore we need to work together towards this endeavour.

Warm Regards,

Principal
