Academics
Grade 9 is a pivotal stage in the CBSE journey, offering a structured and advanced syllabus that enhances critical thinking, independent learning, and problem-solving abilities. Students are introduced to new subjects while also beginning board exam preparation, fostering strong study habits, self-discipline, and effective time management.
The curriculum spans English (Language and Literature), Hindi (Course B), along with language options such as German or French. Core disciplines include Mathematics, Science, Social Science, while skill-oriented courses like Information Technology, Physical Education, and Financial Market Management provide students with practical, future-ready competencies.
Grade 10 is a key academic milestone in the CBSE system, laying the groundwork for higher studies and future career paths. Board exam results influence stream choices for Grade 11 and also open doors to scholarships and competitive exams.
Students take five main subjects: Mathematics (Standard or Basic), Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), English (Language & Literature), Hindi (Course B) or a foreign language (German or French), and Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics). For the optional sixth subject, students can choose from Painting, Information Technology, or Financial Market Management. The curriculum deepens knowledge in core subjects, preparing learners for future challenges.
In grade 11, students begin to specialise, selecting from Science, Commerce, or Humanities streams according to their interests and future goals.
